Aloft is A-Ok

If you haven't been by the new Aloft Hotel in downtown Dallas, be sure to check it out. My friends and I stopped by there for the Young and Ambitious Happy Hour to support Jesse. J. Jackson for his recent acceptance to the coveted Leadership Dallas Class of 2010, as well as shoot some new footage for a show I am working on. The WXYZ bar is beautiful and it's a charmingly cozy spot to sit and have a conversation.

Fine Living Network Shoot with Lloyd Boston

Here are two shots from the segments I shot for the Fine Living Network with style guru and author, Lloyd Boston. We shot in a gorgeous high rise condo and while we were there, I perfected my skills as a quick change artist. The new segments should be begin airing on the network starting this January.

For a good cause...

I have been fortunate to find some wonderful Dallas women who support philanthropy in the community. These photos are from the Ebby Halliday United Way Fundraiser, which was an amazing event and raised funds for a longstanding organization. We also had a wonderful time at the Tinsel and Dreams Gala at Union Station for the Wilkinson Center Auxiliary and the Irving Firefighters Ball. All great organizations with noble missions-and a priviledge to support. This holiday season, be sure to give of your time, talent, and treasure to causes that are close to your heart.

Los Premios MTV Latinoamerica....or the MTV Latin Music Awards

It isn't every day that a girl gets to brush up on her Spanish so quickly, but I did last week at the MTV Latin Music Awards. I worked the red carpet interviews and scored face time with a musical idol of mine-Snoop Dogg. A close second would have to be Maksim Chmerkovskly and Cheryl Burke from DWTS. They are my two favs! Audrina Patridge, Kelly Osbourne, Backstreet Boys, 50 Cent, Nelly Furtado....they all looked great in person. If only I could roll my "r's" better....
